Show Photographer
Saturday:     We apologise to exhibitors for the lack of a Show Photographer on Saturday. We had booked our usual photographers, but they simply didn't turn up.
Sunday:     Luckily for us, Baron Bratby of
www.immortaleye.co.uk
was able to fill the breech on Sunday. Please visit his website to view and purchase his photos.
Judges III
We should like to express our extreme gratitude to Mrs Vicky Keen. Following the withdrawal of Mr Mark Philpott on Sunday morning, Mrs Keen was in the ring and ready to start judging the Veteran classes within about half an hour of my phone call. We wish Mr Philpott a speedy recovery.
Judges II
We should like to thank Mrs Della Theobald and Mr Les Maryon for filling the gaps in our Judges List by very kindly agreeing to judge Show Hunters and Best Riders respectively.
Judges I
Unfortunately Miss C Speid-Soote has had to withdraw from judging the Riding Horse HOYS Qualifiers on Saturday. We wish her a speedy return to full health.
We are extremely grateful to Mr P Cook for agreeing to take her place as the Ride Judge.
Spelthorne Farm
Our Charity for 2006 is the Spelthorne Farm Project. Spelthorne farm was set up to provide facilities for groups of handicapped people, of all ages and most disabilities, to get hands-on experience with farm animals and horse riding. It is run as a charity to enable people with various disabilities to enjoy the therapeutic effects of working with animals and agriculture. They can also experience horse riding on one of the farm's four horses and make contact with the many farm and domestic animals on the premises. Horse riding is a main feature of the centre and many clients feel a real thrill at having met the challenge of assisted horse riding. The centre is a very active member of the Riding For The Disabled scheme.
Veteran Horse Society
In 2006, for the first time, Iver Horse Show will be an Area Qualifier for the Veteran Horse Society & Blue Chip Showing Championship. We will be holding the full range of 3 In Hand and 3 Ridden Veteran classes, which will be open to members and non-members of the Veteran Horse Society. However, only members will be able to qualify for the Regional Championship, and you must have applied for membership at least 14 days prior to the show. Further details from the Veteran Horse Society.
